Nightmares

River woke up in the middle of the night (or how you can call it in the deep Space) and heard some weeping noise. When she turned her head she saw Doctor's half of bed empty, duvet crumpled and pillow tossed away. She followed the noise through TARDIS corridors and found him in the control room under the console. He was sitting there with head in hands, his body was shaking under his sobs and tears was wetting his cheeks. She sat on the floor close to him and hugged him.
'Bad dreams, Sweetie? Shhh...It's okay, it's fine...I'm with you...'
Single tear run down her face...

Nobody has never saw sleeping Doctor. Someone could say he does not need so much sleep as humans need but I think truth is another... The Doctor is an old man no matter how young he looks. He has lived many years and has saw so many things. Good things but also bad things. All the peopple he has lost, all the worlds ha could not save...

The idea of this picture came across my mind one night when I could not sleep. It had some unclear contours but then I have heard this song - Ńightmares ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsvdAj… ) by Cameleon Circuit - and the idea become reality. I wanted to draw Ten and Rose first, but I can not imagine Rose comforting The Doctor, so I chose Eleven and River...
